Answers to some questions you may have about delivery & return of your rental equipment. Yellow Scooters is the only rental company with a policy to give you the most honest & up to date information available.
Where We Deliver
We have free delivery to all Disney Resort Hotels (NOT PARKS), Universal Hotels (NOT PARKS), hotels and resorts, private homes, vacation homes and medical facilities in the Orlando, Kissimmee, attractions area. We offer a free delivery and pick up within a 10 mile radius of Disney Worlds West entrance including International Drive and Universal Studios resort area hotels. If you think you are out side these areas please call or email to check.
Delivery times
It's our goal to deliver and pick up your equipment at the time you specify so please be sure the times you book are the time you actually need your equipment delivered and picked up. This is especially important for Meet & Greet, Disney World Resort Hotels, Westgate Resorts and some Lowes Hotels guests as we will need to hand over your equipment in person between the hours of 7am to 6pm daily. Please give us your cell phone number as we can't deliver if we can't contact you. Our drivers are happy to work with you on timing on your delivery and pick up days. We know sometimes it's hard to stick to exact times, that's ok just let us know if you are behind or ahead of schedule and we are more than happy to work with you. It's your vacation and our pleasure to serve. Non meet & greet deliveries: Your equipment is usually left with hotel bell services for you to collect from your hotel staff. Please return your equipment to the same location/staff at the end of your rental period.
Bookings placed within 24 hours of delivery time
If you book online within 24 hours of the time you need your equipment delivered we will do our very best to get it to you on time. However due to scheduling we cannot guarantee a last minute delivery time. We will call or email to keep you informed of delays.
Meet & Greet (M&G) service
One of our staff members will meet you at your hotel, home or resort location at an agreed time to demonstrate your rented equipment and help with any installation and answer any questions you may have. Free Meet & Greet is required for all Disney World Resort Owned and operated hotels, some Westgate resorts and some Universal (Lowes) Hotels. Please call to check details on these hotels. Also call us on the day with your ETA to make sure that we are there at the time you arrive.
Missed Meet & Greet (M&G) Delivery & pick up
We will arrange a convenient time to meet with you to hand over and pick up your rented equipment. Our driver will call you before your deliver and pick up times. Your times are not set in stone but if you have arraigned a time with our driver on your delivery day and you don't turn up or call to re-schedule this will be considered a no show. Re-delivery or pick up due to your no show will be at our convenience. Our free delivery & collection service does not apply to re-delivery or transfer. We want to work with you and to your schedule so please provide us with the number of an active and contactable cell phone that you will have with you at all times to avoid missed delivery/pick up. Non meet & greet deliveries are usually left with hotel bell services for you to collect from your hotel staff and you should return your equipment to them at the end of your rental period.
We deliver clean & ready to use
All our equipment will be delivered clean, fully charged (if battery powered) and in good condition ready for you to enjoy. You are required under the terms of our rental agreement to return the equipment in the same condition as you received it. You will be charged for equipment that is returned dirty or damaged. Please respect our future customers as we respect you by taking care of the equipment on loan to you, we want all our customers receive the same great service we have endeavored to provide to you.
Late return
You are welcome to extend the rental past the agreed return date and time if booked at least 24 hours before the end of your agreed rental period. This will be subject to our consent and additional rental charges plus $9 for administration. If you return your equipment late without prior agreement you will be charged at our full non discounted single day rate plus $9 administration for each 24 hour period starting 1 hour after your agreed rental period has ended. We don't refund rental fees or charge an administration fee for equipment returned early.
24 hour store service for collection or return.
For your convenience we have a door coded lock room which is available 24/7 so you can arrange to pick up or drop off your rented equipment at any time day or night (must be pre booked). This is available at the rear of our store located at 9230 West US Highway 192, Clermont Florida 34714.
Caution when moving or lifting.
You are advised when lifting or loading any of our equipment to include but not restricted to loading into and out of vehicles. This includes items such as batteries and scooter parts which are also heavy. Anyone attempting to lift any of our equipment should at all times adopt correct lifting practices to prevent injury, loss or damage. We cannot accept any responsibility for any injury, loss or damage caused by incorrect lifting or loading of any of our equipment. We advise that at all times you have someone to assist you when lifting or loading our equipment and you do not attempt any lifting or loading if you are unsure you are fully able to do so.
