Scooter free wheel/Drive lever.

At the rear of your scooter you will see a lever, this lever is the for free wheel or to engage the drive. When moved front to rear this lever will either disengage or engage the drive motor. For the scooter to run the lever needs to be firmly engaged in the drive position. If the lever is not in the drive position the scooter will roll freely (FREE WHEEL POSITION). If the lever is in drive position the scooter when pushed from behind will not roll freely and you are all set to ride. Please note,  if this lever is moved at any time when the scooter is switched on the scooter will not run until you turn off and back on to reset the control system.

Keep Your Scooter Controls Dry

Your scooter controls must be kept dry at all times. It can rain at any time in Florida so it is your sole responsibility to keep your scooter controls dry. To help we supply a small rain cover for the controls for every time your scooter is outdoors (Do not operate  the scooter when cover installed). If your scooter controls get wet it may stop running and you will have to push it back to your hotel, and you will be billed a $50 swap out fee plus the cost of drying and fixing the scooter if damaged.

 

24 hour store service for pick up & drop off.

For your convenience we have a coded lock room which is available 24/7 so you can pick up or drop off your rented equipment at any time day or night (must be pre booked). This is available at the rear of our store located at 9230 West US Highway 192, (9230 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hway) Clermont Florida 34714.

Extending or early ending your rental period.

You are welcome to end or extend your rental at any time. For the best rate rental extensions need to be booked at least 24 hours before you are due to return your equipment. You will pay our daily rate (based on rental duration) plus $9 administration. If you are extending your rental within 24 hours of the end of your rental period this will be considered a new rental and you will be charged our last minute store rental rates, it pays you to plan ahead and makes all our life easier.

Our Cancellation/Refund Policy

If you cancel your booking at least 24 hours before your rental is due to start we refund minus $25. If canceled on your delivery day before delivery or within 24 hours of the rental start time we refund minus the 1st full days rental fee plus any delivery fee if charged. We do not refund after delivery. Early termination of your rental can be at any time with no additional charges, however we do not refund for unused rental days.

Damage to Equipment

When booking from YellowScooters.com you agree to our booking terms and conditions and you are responsible for the rented equipment and are liable for any damage or loss. You agree to pay  for any repairs and/or replacement parts unless you have have purchased our accidental damage insurance. You are responsible for the replacement of any lost or stolen equipment or parts. Taking our Equipment out of the local area

Our rental back up and breakdown service extends to the emendate local area where you have rented the equipment. We do not restrict you from taking rented equipment out of our local serviced area but please be aware that this would be at  your own risk. We will not be held liable if you have any issues that require us to service or replace any equipment that is taken outside of our local delivery/serviced area. Our local serviced area is no more than 20 miles from the West entrance of Disney World Florida.  NOTE: If you need to rent for the Port Canaveral area or for a cruise vacation please book your rental though our Port Canaveral Cocoa Beach team to be fully taken care of in that area.

Please take care when lifting or loading any of our equipment including batteries and scooter parts. When lifting any of our equipment you should be confident that you are able to do so. At all times you should adopt correct lifting practices to prevent injury, loss or damage.
